On July 28, containers loaded with Mongolian bituminous coal, organized and transported by Energy Group, entered the special railway of Datang Inner Mongolia Duolun Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Datang Duolun). As the first container of bituminous coal transported by railway from Mongolia to Datang Duolun, this transaction marks that Energy Group, in collaboration with Datang Duolun, has successfully opened a new chapter in diversified transportation.
As an important part of Energy Group's cross-border coal trade between China and Mongolia, the Datang Duolun project was officially launched at the end of 2023. Previously, Mongolian bituminous coal was primarily transported to China via road transportation. Due to various constrains, this single mode not only has security control risks but also suufers inefficient unloading performance, consequently making it indadequate to meet the growing production demands of the domestic market.
The railway container transportation of Mongolian coal which was coordinated and organized by Energy Group has not only greatly improved transportation efficiency but also reduced losses and pollution during the transportation process. This mode of transportation offers a more efficient and economic transportation solution to clients, while enhancing supply reliability of Mongolian coal.
In the future, Energy Group will continue to deepen its expertise in the coal supply chain field, consistently delivere high-quality integrated coal supply services to clients while safeguarding national energy security.
